I Hate Bad Service!

Ever encountered such bad service from a restaurant, company or person that your fury was seeping through every part of your body? As a consumer, often left shocked at the practices and policies of some businesses, your value has been undermined and sometimes your money taken with it. Wonder what you can do about it to get back at those awful people without killing anyone in the process due to your rage? The best way to get back at them is to spread the word and boycott.
Some people might be under the impress that such a tactic isn’t enough to make a difference but don’t under-estimate the power of ‘word-of-mouth’. Many great events started this way and as one individual you hold a lot of power. This is certainly something that my parents have advocated to me. Don’t take it lying down when you know you are completely within your rights to complain and seek rectification for your experience.
So where can you begin your ranting process? Well there’s a lot of great forums out there to spread the word but I came across this one particular one that I spent some time reading, becoming aware of some of the practices of certain people/businesses. And let’s face it, the name couldn’t be more appropriate.
iHateBadService.ca is an open community/forum for unsatisfied consumers to anonymously share their stories about bad services from all industries, whether it be your phone bill, the restaurant you ate at last night or the tow truck company that ‘tried’ to help you out.
How can you contribute?
1. You receive bad services and want to tell the world about it
2. You post your stories through the complain page
3. Your entry will be posted anonymously in our blog, facebook and twitter shortly
4. The rest of the world can read and comment on your stories
5. You can also search and browse through people’s stories
And voila! The ‘word-of-mouth’ process has begun. Even if your story doesn’t get people to totally boycott the company, it will certainly give them some food for thought and make them more aware consumers and that’s what’s important. A lot of the time, customers are just blind-sided and caught off guard with their wallets open. If you have any further stories to share about your experiences, post it up and we can all take a stand against them.
