Do you do the Dew?

I love when companies revamp their products to showcase the amazing graphic talents of artists today. The prnt scrn shows a description of what Green Lable Art is all about. These unique and appealing designs can be purchased via the site so that you too can own such an awesome  piece of art. It also features their ArtLog which is a blog about art and art culture which is also definitely worth checking out.

Free Rice for the World

“FreeRice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Program. Our partner is the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.

FreeRice has two goals:

  1. Provide education to everyone for free.
  2. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

This is made possible by the generosity of the sponsors who advertise on this site.”About

I actually came across this site a long while ago when it was circulating through facebook friends. I played it for a while, did my small part and forgot all about it until recently. The concept behind the website is actually pretty cool. You learn some new words, make it like a game and feed the world at the same time. Talk about a win-win situation, right? And although it may sound overly easy to you with some tricks up its sleeve, it really is that simple. I just played right now and got to 400 grains. Every bit counts and I learned a few new words that I’ll be sure to test out at some point. Solving hunger and illiteracy one word at a time. How great is that?!

Will work for food: story of my life

“Will Work For Food is where I’ll post random things related to food and design. One day it’ll be a great easy recipe I found. Another it’ll be a new bottled water that you should try. And most recently it’ll be a wine recommendation…not necessarily because it tastes good, but because the label looks good.

If it’s got something to do with food and eating, design, culture or anything else, you can find it here.

WWFF will also feature links to daily food related goodness, whether it’s a new product, a new restaurant or anything food related in general.” – About

I must give credit where credit is due. I came across this great blog, mainly food related topics which has kept me entertained and informed lately. Many of the sites listed on this blog has lead to my own virtual adventures, sorting through websites and other information to share with you guys so I thought it best to share the source and be sure to give credit.

Like I said its a great site featuring some of the best links, information, advice on topics related to food + design(and other things too of course). Many of the links there I will be sharing as well to spread the love for the websites/info that I think is important and useful but I didn’t want to take credit for finding them. So here’s my source, definitely check it out!

Fridge Watcher

I’m sure you’ve seen the MTV show, cribs in its many forms or have seen some kind of celebrity tour through their homes. One of the highlighted moments in the show, besides the showcasing of their vehicles is often their fridge and contents inside. More often than not, its the only glimpse we have into the fact they are indeed humans (and not Gods as some people tend to think) that need to eat just like the rest of us. Some are filled with higher end stuff, champagne and caviar, while other are stocked a little more normally, juice and bread. Read more of this post

Jon Huck Photography

I came across his photography though a food blog and was intrigued by his creative work. One of his projects involved the depiction of people  and their most important meal of the day; breakfast. It’s a snapshot look at the differences in how we all start our day, an image into their world and personality. I believe his website features 100 of these images. Read more of this post
